Held Stories

Held Stories exists as a literary project designed to be held as a living archive.

The channel, and its resulting editions, present original short stories: narrated, static encounters of a quiet, literary kind.

Some are preserved in silent form. Others are heard.

The intent of these works is to grant permission to slow one’s pace.

Rewarding patience, the stories are intended to be listened to in full, completing their cycle from introduction to conclusion.

If it seems that nothing dramatic happens, this is intentional.

Without confession, instruction, or answers, these works offer a safe place for thought to come to rest.

Non-autobiographical in nature, they explore mundane lives in familiar settings.

Though future editions may be released, the channel does not follow a serial or seasonal structure.

As Held Stories is maintained as a living archive, audio and text are treated as canonical; video functions only as a container.

Editions will be prepared over time for those who wish to preserve the work and its history.
